Review

It's true that several artists released a slew of material in 2010, especially Bay Area rapper Lil B. But no one could match the output of Madlib. He dropped a pair of jazz albums, provided beats for entire Guilty Simpson and Strong Arm Steady records, and released a nearly monthly series called the Madlib Medicine Show. But because the producer didn't want to rush its release, the ninth entry in the Medicine Show was delayed from its original date of September 2010. The album is a collaborative effort that features Detroit's Frank Nitt, one half of Frank n Dank, rapping entirely over Madlib beats.
