
After dropping his breakthrough smash, Los Angeles, in 2008, Flying Lotus never really slowed down. He either toured, put together EPs, collaborated with guys like Thom Yorke and Jose James, or was working on his third proper album, Cosmogramma. But even with that record out in 2010, he began crafting its follow up in the form of an EP. Pattern+Grid World finds the Los Angeles producer streaming together seven more wonky tracks, such as "Camera World," which sounds like a drugged version of a soundtrack for a Nintendo game.
