Flo Rida ONLY 1 FLO (PT. 2)

As had become the custom for many hip-hop artists, Flo Rida used his Twitter account in March 2010 to announce that he was working on his third album, the then-titled The Only One. At that point, it was rumored to be a double-album, though it was later revealed that the club-centric rapper had split it into a two-part, separately released series. The second, as made clear by its title, is ONLY 1 RIDA (PT. 2), and it's far less melodically driven than its predecessor. Websites such as Artists Direct have indicated that this record finds Flo Rida displaying much more intricate rhyme patterns and “verbal dexterity.” In other words, it appears Flo is trying to show he's more than just another “ringtone rapper.”
