Everest On Approach

Everest’s 2008 debut, Ghost Notes, earned the quintet touring slots with musical heavyweights My Morning Jacket, Wilco, and Neil Young. Fresh from Vapor Records’ Music Showcase at SXSW, Everest’s sophomore release, On Approach, finds a more mature, well-rehearsed band trying its hand at different genres. Recorded at Prairie Sun Recordings in Cotati, Calif., On Approach took a decidedly longer span of time to record than Ghost Notes’ two weeks.
