Alien in a Garbage Dump is the second solo album from Black Dice's Eric Copeland, after 2007's Hermaphrodite. It consists of seven songs from the vinyl-only EP of the same name, along with six others from the Al Anon EP. Aside from his affiliation with Black Dice, his home at Paw Tracks provides sufficient context for Copeland's solo outings--Alien in a Garbage Dump is the weirdly nightmarish answer to the more melodic sample-based releases on the label from his pals in Animal Collective.
