Eminem's proper debut, 1999's The Slim Shady LP, brought with it more than just newfound fame for the Detroit MC. It also contained the promise of a collaborative project with fellow Motor City native Royce da 5'9" thanks to the track "Bad Meets Evil." But the rappers had a falling out in the ensuing years and instead focused on solo and group projects. And it was actually Royce's group, Slaughterhouse, that would lead to his reconciliation with Eminem as they signed to Shady Records in 2010. The two rappers then began working on the Hell: The Sequel EP behind the scenes, before releasing their first single, the blistering "Fast Lane," in April 2011. Mr. Porter handles the bulk of the production on the EP with the rest coming from the likes of Bangladesh, Havoc, and DJ Khalil. The only guests on the project are Slaughterhouse and crooner Bruno Mars.
