Earth's two Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light albums were meant come out in 2011. As frontman Dylan Carlson explained to the Quietus, the second installment was meant to drop in September, or seventh months after the first, for continuation purposes. But Carlson said Southern Lord didn't want any of that, so Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light 2 was pushed to 2012. He hasn't revealed any further details on the album, but it's likely that it, like its predecessor, contains strong folk influences and a mournful air amongst the crushing riffs.
