Now that Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy and Q-Tip's The Renaissance are out, the last of the mythical "forthcoming" albums is Dr. Dre's Detox, an album promised for a 2009 release. Dre had promised the album would be out in 2008, but then he got caught up working on Eminem's long-coming comeback album, Relapse. The album has been in gestation for so long at this point (nine years) that there's no telling what will or won't end up on the album, but it's sure to be chock full of west coast trunk thumpers.

honestly, I want it to be good but I got my doubts. Guess we'll have to wait and see. some of these rappers like snoop and birdman have been disappointing me with there recent work by teaming up with idiots....I could go on forever..but you never know... Detox better be sum crazy ass banging s--t. S--t that will still sound good in 10 years, just like the first half of "2001" still sounds good today.
