While Born Like This is not without its highlights, DOOM chose wisely in asking producers to remix that album’s finest track in “Gazzillion Ear.” The already-dope beat-changing production by J Dilla gets tackled by the likes of Thom Yorke, Dr. Who Dat?, and Jneiro Jarel. The Radiohead frontman’s wild remix already appeared as an iTunes bonus track, but it’s nice to have it offered here sans DRM. Bedroom beatmakers are catered to, also, as DOOM’s wordplay-intensive verses appear as an a cappella track. Most enticing, though, are the three unreleased tracks. Here’s hoping this is only the beginning of another string of new DOOM projects, such as the oft-delayed Madvillain follow-up and Ghostface collaboration.
