British electronica rockers Does It Offend You, Yeah? have blurred the lines between “reviving” and “continuing” the legacy of 1990's and early 2000’s dance rock acts, when their 2008 debut You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into received polarized reviews that recalled the initial critical response to Death From Above 1979 (who contributed vocals on the debut). After a series of remixes acts like the White Stripes and opening for the likes of Linkin Park and the Prodigy, Does It Offend You, Yeah? is releasing the similarly provocatively-titled Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You for the band's sophomore album. Does It Offend You, Yeah? band barely dented the British pop charts on their debut, but the band’s increasingly exposure and the increasingly murky world of album sales should see a spike for Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You. The band’s artistic merits, however, are still very much up for grabs.
