Along with the first volume of this series, Sub Pop released Dntel's After Parties 2 on the very same date. The two EP volumes serve as the first proper new efforts from Dntel since his 2007 album, Dumb Luck, which features Grizzly Bear, Lali Puna, Conor Oberst, and several others. Unlike that record, though, the two After Parties are completely instrumental. They are also minimalist in nature, with sparse, droning production. This, After Parties 2, features five tracks, which is two more than the first.
