Review

It's not surprising that a rapper like DMX, whose bark and relevance is strongly associated with the zenith of late 90s rap's marketability, is still bothering to release material in 2010. After all, his last album, even if you don't remember, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, meaning DMX is still commercially viable. Further proof is found in the list of folks who've done work for this album: Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Jim Jonsin, Scott Torch, and Sean Kingston. These are not the characteristics of a release by someone who's largely been messing from the rap consciouness for the past few years.
