Leading up to the release of their proper debut, Life Doesn't Frighten Me, the trio of producer DJ Revolution and rappers Malcolm & Martin churned out a pair of mixtapes. The second, 2010's Malcolm & Martin were...Criminal Minded, served as the album's true precursor. And it found the trio looking to Boogie Down Productions' classic Criminal Minded for inspiration, which bled through in the huge production and socially conscious lyrics. That politically charged record is likely to have an impact on Life Doesn't Frighten Me, though further details on the project remain unknown at this time. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
