DJ Premier Get Used To Us

When he's not producing or on the road DJing, DJ Premier has been putting together a collective of artists at Year Round Records. One of its more prominent releases came in 2009, when Blaq Poet released the mostly Premo-produced Tha Blaqprint. From there, Premo began signing younger acts, such as Nick Javas and Khaleel, both of whom are featured on this Year Round compilation, Get Used to Us. Along with the newcomers are regular Premo collaborators in the gritty slightly underground hip-hop scene, such as Royce Da 5'9”, Lady of Rage, Styles P, and KRS-One.
