The Temecula Sunrise EP is something of a victory lap for Brooklyn indie rockers Dirty Projectors: 2009 saw them releasing the nearly universally beloved Bitte Orca, and finally ascending to the upper echelons of blog popularity. The EP takes two hit jams from Bitte ("Cannibal Resource" and "Temecula Sunrise" (duh)) and pairs them with two new joints, "Ascending Melody" and "Emblem of the World," that were recorded during the sessions for the album.
