Death Cab for Cutie The Open Door

Death Cab for Cutie's The Open Door EP is made up of four tracks that didn't quite fit with the group's previous studio LP, Narrow Stairs, and a track by lead singer Ben Gibbard, "Talking Bird." EPs like this often feel like an attempt to make use of a full-length album's leavings, which these four songs might be, but fans should be the ones who make their minds up about this material.
