If you rode for the West Coast in the '90s, chances are you know Danny Boy from his numerous features on 2pac tracks. In particular, Danny helped make "I Ain't Mad At 'Cha," off Pac's All Eyez On Me, just that much more grandiose with his huge hook. But the Chicago native, who reportedly recorded five albums' worth of material, never released a record under his own name. He, like many others, was a victim to the drama surrounding Death Row Records. But Danny kept recording tracks and eventually teamed up with DJ Quik, who produces many of the tracks on the singer's appropriately titled debut, It's About Time.
