Amidst what appeared to be an endless studio session with Ski Beatz, New Orleans MC Curren$y found the time to work with another artist in the Blu Roc family. Beatz revealed this news in a November 2010 interview with Complex, in which he, among musings on weed and Pilot Talk 3, stated that Spitta was recording with folk artist Sean O'Connell to create Muscle Car Chronicles. Some might know O'Connell for his performances as part of the Blu Roc Festival Tour with McKenzie Eddy and Beatz's band, the Senseis. And it turns out that O'Connell actually serves as the producer for the bluesy, rock-oriented Muscle Car Chronicles while Eddy is featured prominently throughout the album. It's also accompanied by a film by the same name.
