Aside from some scattered mixtapes and unofficial releases, the Long Beach, Calif.-based MC Crooked I struggled to see his proper full-length come to fruition. Sure, there were compilations such as Hood Star and the Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist EP, but nothing in terms of an official entrance to the rap game. While Planet C.O.B. Vol. 1 isn't that either, this EP is essentially the prelude to his debut. He's joined on here by crooners Vaughn Anthony and Brian Rivers along with producers such as Grinch, Rick Rock, and Tabu.
