Review

For a guy who first appeared in the mid-1990s, you would assume it wouldn't take 15 years for his proper debut to hit stores. But that's exactly what happened to Crooked I's proper solo debut, Million Dollar Story. The West Coast rapper, who faced loads of label drama again and again, kept his fans satisfied, though, by releasing several EPs over the years and plenty of mixtapes. He also joined forces with Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9", and Joell Ortiz, who together are Slaughterhouse, while simultaneously promoting another crew, the Horse Shoe G.A.N.G. Amongst his busy schedule, Crooked continued putting together his Million Dollar Story, which boasts production from DJ Khalil and scratches from DJ Premier with plenty of features from his Slaughterhouse pals.
