
Charles Rowell and Brandon Welchez, who used to play with one another as the Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, got hyped up by No Age in 2008 as Crocodiles. Their subsequent debut LP, Summer of Hate, garnered a positive critical response in 2009 and convinced a swarm of blogger-evangelicals to spread the word about them. In 2010 Crocodiles is looking to expand on this initial buzz with Sleep Forever, their sophomore full-length. James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco produces, lending a sheen to the band's previously lo-fi recordings.
