Consequence Movies On Demand 2

For years, Consequence has seemed to be doomed to second-stringer status, making several appearances on other artists' records (dating back to A Tribe Called Quest's "The Chase, Part II" remix on Midnight Marauders), but not making that huge of statements on his own albums. With the release of 2010's Movies On Demand, things seemed to change a bit, and the highly acclaimed mixtape has given birth to this sequel. Early indications imply that the sequel follows the album-over-mixtape format of having songs that actually flow into one another, with little interruptions from DJs or blaring sound effects. Cons' G.O.O.D. label boss Kanye West shows up to lend production duties to first leak "Alphabet Boys," which sits on the same tracklist as the seemingly West-dissing "Man Purses." Whether or not there is discontent in the G.O.O.D. camp, Movies On Demand 2 is certainly Consequence's next step towards establishing his own persona.
