Colour Revolt The Cradle

Colour Revolt has been through a lot recently. After the band released its debut album, 2008's Plunder, Beg, and Curse, Fat Possum dropped it, and then guitarist Jimmy Cajoleas, drummer Len Clark, and bassist Drew Mellon all left. The remaining members, lead singer Jesse Coppenbarger and guitarist Sean Kirkpatrick, decided to keep going by creating their own label with fan donations and pre-orders. The Cradle is their sophomore album and their first release on the newly formed New Fear label. They recorded it with Daniel Davison (Norma Jean), Brooks Tipton (Unwed Sailor, Bear Colony) and Hank Sullivant (the Whigs) at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, N.C.
