Citay’s third studio album, Dream Get Togethers, is indebted to many for its creation. “Careful With That Hat” was inspired by a Pink Floyd song from the soundtrack to the 1970 film "Zabriskie Point." "Mirror Kisses" arose from Ezra Feinberg’s obsession with Roches songs produced by Robert Fripp. "Fortunate Sun" starts like Electric Light Orchestra and ambles into Brian Eno territory. “Tugboat” is a Galaxie 500 cover.

Just as Feinberg trumpets how the album’s sound was influenced by other music, he is also clear about the role of relationships in forming its content. “I wanted this album to carry a deeper emotional weight than the last two. The record comes from the intensity of relationships, how deep we can go with each other, how exhilarating that depth can be, and how painful, too. I know this from recent experience.”
