Christopher Bissonnette is a modern music composer from Canada. Like many other artists on the Kranky label, he crafts beautful, buzzing, ambient creations. On In Between Words, Bissonnette's second album, he combines sounds he created in the studio with samples of orchestral pieces. The result is a symphony in six movements. And like members of Stars of the Lid and Matmos, groups who make music much like his own, Bissonnette leads an interesting life outside his musical career: He also works for the media collective Thinkbox.
