In
a relatively short time, drum 'n' bass producers, remixers and deejays
Chase & Status have made a name for themselves with some extremely
high-quality output. Following in the footsteps of icons Marky, Zinc
and Friction, Chase & Status cement their status as the deejays to
watch with their impressive Bingo Sessions Vol. 3. This is drum 'n' bass as it's meant to be: furious, fast and funky.

With
six of their own tracks on the release as well as several from Zinc,
the compilation is a showcase for their label, Bingo. But that's beside
the point. This mix grabbed me from the opening ragga vibes of "Come
Back," featuring Top Cat, before taking me on a seamless journey
through dance-floor drum 'n' bass. The track selection consists of some
of the current most popular tracks by well-known artists such as
Stakka, Jenna G, TC, D Kay, and A-Sides.

The
deejays keep things on the funky side, with forays into reggae, hip-hop
and soul, while never sacrificing the hard edge of their sound. What
Chase & Status do to great effect is blend familiar tracks in
exciting ways. The mixing is flawless and dramatic, the beats cutting
out and landing perfectly. If there were ever a compilation that
captured the sound of drum 'n' bass dance marathon, this might be it.
