Chali 2na Fish Market Part 2

Following Jurassic 5's dissolution in 2007, each of the four MCs within the group got to work on solo work. Most prominently, their signature voice, Chali 2na, announced his long-in-the-works debut, Fish Outta Water, was actually being released. Two years later, the record dropped in the summer of 2009 to some critical acclaim but fans were still left wanting more. The deep-voiced MC then got to work on Fish Market Part 2, the sequel to his 2004 mixtape debut. And he enlisted the help of Slum Village's DJ Dez Andres to provide that old-school mixtape feel, meaning record scratches and smooth transitions.
