Bun B No Mixtape

The story behind No Mixtape is kind of hilarious. In one of his many remixes/freestyles in 2009, Bun B announced his upcoming Trill O.G. album. He then said, “No mixtape coming soon.” And he meant just that: no mixtape. But bloggers and the rest of the world took that the wrong way. We all thought he meant that the project was entitled No Mixtape. Well, it ended up coming to fruition anyway, as he announced that something with that name would be dropping. It’s a compilation of the various free tracks he has leaked to the blogosphere, which feature him spitting over and killing other MCs' beats, with a few snippets from TrillO.G.
