Abstract

Emcees Pumpkinhead, Mr. Metaphor and Block McCloud were familiar names in underground hip-hop scene beginning in the late-'90s. That the three also performed as a "super group" only further titillated the fancies of fans of verbose and rhythmically dexterous rhyming. Those same heads are finally being treated to the trio's debut album. Of course residents of both the underground past, like Jean Grae and Killah Priest, and nouvelle vague, including Black Milk and Marco Polo, join the festivities.
