B.o.B No Genre

Critics and longtime fans alike weren't too satisfied when B.o.B dropped his major label debut, The Adventures of Bobby Ray, in April 2010. Aside from harboring a strong pop sound, it was a complete departure from the more experimental and creative tracks heard on previous mixtapes. From the sound of first leak "Beast Mode," perhaps B.o.B has heard the complaints from the naysayers unhappy with his output. If nothing else, it will be interesting to hear how he responds to those criticisms. For one, this could be his first step in his plan to return to a less watered-down sound and style.
