Review

Blueprint had a busy 2010, what with the time spent recording with his crew, the Greenhouse Effect, and promoting his label, Weightless Recordings. During that time, though, he was also crafting his second proper album on Rhymesayers Entertainment, Adventures In Counter-Culture. Unlike his previous effort, 2005's boom bap-heavy 1988, this project finds the rapper-producer rapping over synthesizers and drum machines. He's also ditched some of his more light-hearted witticisms for cynical looks at an uninspired society listening to disposable pop fluff.
