The Black Keys are keeping their successful career as Blakroc rolling. All the elements are set up to keep releasing albums. The band has its own label, co-owned with Damon Dash. The recordings are by nature quick to produce -- their debut took only 11 days for 11 tracks. And after the success of their first album, finding more collaborators should be a walk in the park. The only question that adds suspense to the making of Blakroc 2 is how they can arrange a lineup of rappers to top their first effort.
yo when this gonna drop?! almost the end of '10 now..

It's looking like 2011 at this point. Going to update the release date.
I would like to see Charlie 2na or anyone from Jurassic 5 mixed in; maybe even Del or some of the guys form Hieroglyphics.

I'd love to see some more Wu up in there.
My boy Pharoahe Monch deserves some more playing time too!

Black Thought would be perfect for Blakroc.

Definitely some Talib Kweli, Nas, Del, maybe Aceyalone, any and all Wu. Some N.A.S.A. collaboration would be nice. More Santigold for sure! How bout The Roots? Andre or Big Boi, from back in the day. Lauren Hill? Just have a big party - invite all the greats.

Can NOE make another appearance? He's the filth. I would love to see Black Thought on it too. Blakroc is one of my favorite albums man, every song is so good.
