In well under a decade, OutKast went from being the number one name in hip-hop experimentation, to releasing Kiss-like solo albums under the band's name (Speakerboxxx/The Love Below), to starring in a dud of a movie (Idlewild), to disappearing off the face of the world for a few years. Now the more conventional half of the group, Big Boi, is releasing his first proper solo album, Sir Luscious Left Foot...Son of Chico Dusty, an album that's probably had more release dates than songs (this time it's slated for a late-February 2009 release). Big Boi has only released two tracks in advance of the album, "Dubbz" leaked to the web in September 2008, and "Something's Gotta Give," released (with a video) back in July of 2008, so that's a tremendously long lead time for the album.

BigBoi goes in on his new solo album, he is bringing in the order & the law, its rules to this, living life maintaining ones soul not just surviving for the wrong reasons.
