Comprised of members from Girls Against Boys, The Romulans and Uzeda, Bellini takes elements from all those acts to create their own brand of rhythmic, abrasive post-rock. Their newest album, The Precious Prize of Gravity, promises to be more complex, but no less darker than their 2005 effort, Small Stones, both of which were recorded by noise expert, Steve Albini. This time around, the album was recorded in Chicago instead of a five-day span in Austin like the previous one.
