Label: Pompeii/Ba Da Bing
Table of Contents
A double-disc EP that splits Zach Condon’s disparate musical musings (organic world music on disc one, beepblipped bedroom electronic on disc two) onto two discs, March of the Zapotec/ Holland sounds, in theory, stretched a little thin; however, the sheer weirdness of the concept—a 19-piece band performing Mexican funeral marches packaged next to a disc of Realpeople’s (a Condon pseudonym) oddball synth musings—makes it just a bit too intriguing to pass up, at least until the proper follow-up to The Flying Club Cup materializes next year.
