Bear in Heaven started as a bedroom recording project for Jon Philpot. He then moved to New York City, made some friends, and expanded it into a full band. They had an EP released by Scott Herren, and then put out an LP on Exile on Mainstream. Beast Rest Forth Mouth is their first album for Hometapes, which is also the home of up-and-comers like Feathers and Megafaun.
