For their third album together, producer Factor and rapper Awol One decided to, again, switch things up. That's not to say Landmark is a complete departure, though, for either artist. Factor's still weaving together experimental soundscapes and Awol hasn't lost his gruff, straightforward delivery. But here, the production is a little grittier and less polished while the raps focus on life on the road. It's a much more subdued affair and also finds the duo putting together some of their most melodic tunes yet.
