Arrington de Dionyso is better known as the weirdo frontman and visionary of Old Time Relijun. Solo, he takes his left-field sensibilities to their logical conclusion. Malaikat Dan Singa, his third record and second for K Records, is centered on Tuvan-inspired throat singing and bass clarinet improvisation. It is sung entirely in Indonesian, and features lyrics adapted from William Blake poems. If you dig the more dissonant side of Old Time Relijun, this is the source.
