While some bands experience album delays due to endless studio tinkering or obsessive quality control by the band or label, the situation faced by thrash metal pioneers Anthrax was way more fundamental. Worship Music, the band’s tenth studio album, was originally supposed to be the first to feature vocalist Dan Nelson, but the lineup was unable to stick. Luckily, classic Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna stepped back up to the mic, laying down his first work for the band since 1990’s Persistence Of Time. The album, which has been in the works as far back as early 2009, is being released by Megaforce Records.
