A lot of bands would call it quits after the death of their lead vocalist and most recognizable member. On the other hand, about as many of them wouldn't, cause hey, a guy's gotta eat. With that, seven years after the death of Layne Staley, Alice in Chains is putting out their fourth studio album, Black Gives Way to Blue, with William Duvall of Comes with the Fall on lead vocals. The album's title track also features Elton John, so Alice in Chains' first album in 14 years shouldn't be like their last one, at the least.
Album comes out September 29!

A Great Comeback
I was very skeptical at first but that is no longer the case. An amazing comeback is the best way to describe it.
