Adventure hails from the adventurous, oddball, dance-happy music scene of Baltimore, home to Dan Deacon, Lesser Gonzalez Alvarez, and so many more. Adventure is the brainchild of one Benny Boeldt, a young music maker originally from North Carolina. Seems Mr. Boeldt played many a video game growing up (Sega!), and the glitchy, electronic soundtracks to those games inform his music. Witness the Tetris-like figures on this self-titled, debut album's cover. Songs include "Crypt Castle Cult" and "Jurassic Park City." Cheat codes not included.
