Wu-Tang Clan affiliate 9th Prince, who happens to also be RZA's younger brother, struck out on his own with 2003's Granddaddy Flow. It marked his solo debut as well as his first proper effort following his three-album run with his group Killarmy. But time in jail forced the MC to slow his pace for the ensuing years. Upon his release, he dropped Prince of New York in 2008 and began working on his third studio record, Revenge of the 9th Prince. It boasts features from Killah Priest, Shyheim, Planet Asia, Killarmy, Boy Jones, and RZA, who also provided his brother with some beats.
