I love this band, but this wasn't a great mesh with the venue. You can't really turn the Whitney Basement into a basement rock club with a finger snap...

I agree Jeff. On the flipside, it's really cool that this kind of music makes it into the Whitney!
it doesn't hurt to try. if the crowd was less art snob and more fun, it would have helped. you don't show up to a show like that and sip wine in high heels.
but the band was sick. absolutely great.
