Great pics, especially of Ra Ra Riot. You can watch footage that I shot of BSS's set on my work blog: I was able to be on stage so it's pretty close up. |

I saw a photo of you with a water backpack! While you guys were sweating to indie rock in Coney Island I was eating pupusas in Red Hook. I think I got the better deal! |

so it was really that good? I've always had bad experiences with the sound there. BSS weren't that great live when i saw them either. but that was like 4 years ago and they're probably pros now. I really wanted to see Malkmus again but heat+bad sound turned me off. |

Hey G, yeah when I saw it was going to be almost 100 degrees I went out and got a CamelBak. I refilled it with ice water all day - it totally saved my ass. The heat was scary. There were kids who had waited all day in full sun at the front of the barrier. I hoped they had water, because it was completely packed in. |
Islands and BSS were awesome.
