Yeah it was a set of conditions really horrible for photographers. I was talking with a guy in the pit with me who was super nice - he had a bunch of great equipment, lots of zoom lenses in a case, and he looked at the fence, shrugged his shoulders and said "What, I hafta bring bolt cutters!?" There were also really bright lights that would shine out directly into the audience (and cameras).

I climbed up on a box and hung on to the fence for some shots but security didn't like that. Luckily after the first song I found out that my camera lens fit perfectly through the chain link holes.

The show itself was absolutely amazing, the best I've seen all year. The sound was perfect and the performers were giving all they had for the audience. Uncle Al even chastised everyone for not being drunk and rowdy enough. It really makes me happy that since I became a fan in high school, Ministry has put more and more political content in their lyrics. I was also thrilled to get a Ministry balloon :) This was one of those concerts I'll never forget.

Lori, was Meshuggah opening on this date of the tour? I missed M & M when they came through Los Angeles in early April.
