Last weekend the new king of pop rocked New Jerseys IZOD Center. Yes you read that right, the new king of pop; Justin Timberlake. What makes him a suitable holder of the throne? Well along with a back catalog of impressive pop hits, JT has also released one of the most infectious albums of the year and has already toured extensively for it, with no end in sight.
Even more mind blowing is how casual all of this seems to him. Most people couldn’t imagine embarking on a two year tour for an album, let alone a two year tour for TWO albums. The 20/20 Experience has grown to be one of 2013s best surprises and seeing JT perform the songs live (along with his backing band the Tennessee Kids) is nothing short of remarkable. A 28 song set with loads of banter and fan favorites (such as Cry Me A River, Senorita) mixed in with near perfect tracks (in the forms of Strawberry Bubblegum and TKO) makes a Timberlake concert one of the best uses of your money when it comes to attending a pop show. He’s not just great live, he’s spectacular, and his charm and stamina will have you talking for days.
