Even so, I gotta give you props for this set. Shooting hip-hop in a small venues is totally brutal. The performers often wear white or black, neither of which are good for photography and move constantly. In smaller venues, there's just no way we're going to get the 1/400 we need to freeze motion.
Cheers. It was actually a lot easier than I'd thought it would be (well, "less difficult" is more accurate.) I'd previously only shot rappers at house parties, with no lighting whatsoever -- an actual theatre with actual lights was a nice change.
It was pretty amusing to be shooting Dizzee Rascal on the same stage as El Perro Del Mar, two days later ;)

Dizzee Rascal having a number one song gives me so much hope for the world that I felt compelled to say so on Prefix.
