I think GM_Omni's cred just took a hit for using "cred" as criteria for whether something is musically noteworthy ;-) Actually, I was at this show last night, and though I go to several shows a week here in the city, this one was pretty amazing, not only because Highline Ballroom is one of the better venues in NYC, but because the crowd was SO into this show and having a great time, as was the band. It's nice to go to a show like that now and again rather than stand around with a bunch of beardy, scowling hipsters with their arms crossed. |

Agreed, Wendy! I thoroughly enjoyed the set last night. Amos Lee's voice is one of those that gets right under the skin. And I too really like seeing a show where people are having a good time. |
