The blogger formerly known as “the guy who got two Zune tattoos and then briefly flirted with changing his name to Microsoft Zune” has formally declared his intentions to cut ties with Microsoft’s oft ignored music player. Zune tattoo guy, whose name is already lost to Internet history, cited Microsoft’s refusal to include Zune Marketplace on the Xbox and the inability to transfer videos from the gaming console to the media player as the proverbial straws that broke the camel’s back. He went on to say that he is actively figuring out the best way to cover up the two Zune tattoos on his left arm. Hopefully there’s not a Zen player tat in his future, but “the artist formerly known as Zune tattoo guy” has said that, given the negative response to his first skin art experiment, he will be keeping a much lower profile with his solution.
