In the newest part of its continued assault on Mount Apple, Microsoft will be launching a series of podcasts featuring artists such as Common, Oasis, T.I., Dierks Bentley, and Seun Kuti. The series, called The Green Room, leads off with a series of backstage interviews with Common that will be added to the Zune Marketplace along with a free video for "Universal Mind Control," the first single from Common's upcoming album. The Green Room joins other Microsoft initiatives Zune School Music Masters, a "curriculum" on music put together by Zune, Xbox Gamer Central, and Hits Collections, which lists the top selling music by decade.
